Hello, Freegogpcgames. I recently just downloaded Stardew Valley and noticed that I cannot add mods on it because there is no mod folder to unzip SMAPI. Is there a way or a step by step intruction on how to add mods. I have no money so I cannot buy stardew valley but I am happy I get to play it. There is some mods I really want such as being able to interact with my childrens. Please contact me ASAP or respond ASAP. Thank you@ ! ^^
We are so sorry not really sure if mods will work on gog version coz we do not test any on this so we do not have support for that 🙁
If you want to play with mods, you have to download Smapi, extract the content into another folder, put that folder into the game directory of Stardew valley you downloaded here, Smapi should have different bat. file, install the one appropriate with your computer, then everything should be pretty straightforward after that, a mod folder will appear, and you can start downloading mods in Nexus, make sure you extract the mods into folder since SMapi can’t read mods when it’s on rar. format

If you buy from gog yes it will recognize the save folder but not sure with steam

ive installed it, have every driver and all of that crap required to run the game, checked multiple times and tried multiple things, yet the game doesnt even launch. any ideas what could the issue be?

So I’ve completed the community center and received the letter in the mail from Willy saying he wants to show me what’s in his backroom. However when I go into Willys shop, the cutscene doesn’t happen. When I click on the door to go into the boat room it doesn’t say “it’s locked…” Like it has before. Instead the door makes the sound like you’re entering a building and my screen goes dark for a moment similar to entering any other building. However it still doesn’t bring me into the back room. I just spawn back in Willys shop, in front of the door to go to the boat. Haven’t had any issues with this download until now just curious if theres any way i can fix this in the game files.

We do not test multiplayer on here sorry 🙁 most of the game will not work but if you know a free server it might work
Multiplayer on the GOG version is peer to peer only. You create a game and send an invitation to another player via their IP address. They will then see the name of your game and be able to join. You can have up to 8 players on version 1.6.
The STEAM version works differently as it’s connected via STEAM.
you can host and play on the same wifi with another guy or you can actually play from afar (not on a same wifi) like from another city . You need to use stuff like hamachi
